Christmas is now less than two months away, so you know what that means…time to start dropping not so subtle hints about what you’re looking for.
Karla Deras is one of my favourite style bloggers. She has a really ladylike vintage style that is still totally accessible and just really really clean. I also like that she has a real woman’s figure (Read: hips and an ASS! I mean, who in fashion has an ass?) and so clothes look like clothes on her. She’s not spread too thin as a blogger with a bunch of endorsements, press trips, fashion show invites. She’s never in your face with promotions, very like oh look! I made some jewelry. Very understated. Very chic. To put it simply…she jus normal.
Karla also has actually studied fashion and she has just released her second collaboration with online jewelry brand Roman Luxe. She has teased us with sneak peeks for weeks now and this week I finally saw the final images. The collection features chunky earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets with huge vibrant lapis stones studding them everywhere. They are perfect for the statement jewelry lover…like me…ahem…hint, hint.
(Side note: It’s truly great to see a blogger you love make the transition from fashion enthusiast to fashion influencer. If you go back to the early days of Karla’s blog she’s wearing Forever 21 and H&M and now it’s Givenchy and Prada. It’s also nice to be brought into the development of her collection and see the result. Congrats Karla!)

Love Lapis but I’d be hard pressed to choose between this and her first collection. Faux python and geometric shapes? Love. That Lapis double finger ring is amazing though. And her pieces are relatively affordable imo.
